Avoid counterfeit lamps

The Internet has been flooded with companies selling “compatible” projector lamps. At first glance generic compatible lamps seem like an incredible bargain. But when you factor in their shorter life spans and poor illumination along with other problems, these lamps actually end up costing more in the long run.

Be sure to install the proper type of BenQ 60.J5016.CB1 lamp. Even though they are cheaper in price, avoid buying generic knock-offs or lamps advertised as “compatible.” These lamps are prone to explosion and have been created using toxic substances such as Krypton-85.

Using a counterfeit generic lamp may result in poor illumination as well as malfunction of the sensitive components in your projector.

Installing a generic lamp will also void any warranty for your BenQ PB7220 projector. Save yourself unnecessary headaches and buy an authentic BenQ 60.J5016.CB1 lamp authentic from a recognized dealer.  Learn the 7 Ways to spot a counterfeit lamp.
